What Does a Personal Chef Do?

Many first time clients to my services ask me, "So what exactly does a personal chef do?" My answer is that a personal chef is someone who meets with you to determine your meal needs, decides with you what to prepare, how much to prepare and how often to prepare it. A personal chef will shop for the ingredients, prepare the meals in your home, clean up your kitchen and store the meals in your refrigerator or freezer. A personal chef can also do other things such as special event meal preparation, provide cooking lessons, prepare grocery lists and provide recipes for people who want to prepare the meals themselves. Basically, a personal chef is someone who provides a culinary service built around your needs.

Philosophy

My philosophy is to work with you to select & prepare meals that you and your family will enjoy eating. On average, Americans end up throwing away about 30% of the food they purchase. And why? Who knows for certain, but what I strive to do at Simply Served is to prepare meals that you will look forward to eating, not throwing away!

Many of my clients have special dietary needs, and it's my job to meet those needs. Whether you are an organic lover, a vegan, a gluten free person or just someone who needs a better understanding of what constitutes good, nutritional food, I can accommodate your needs and exceed your expectations!
