One of the comments I most often hear from new personal chef clients is that they are bored to death with the 4 or 5 “go-to” meals they prepare every week. And quite frankly, who wouldn’t be bored silly with that? For some folks, branching out is nearly impossible because they lack the skills (or the interest) to prepare new foods. For example, I recently roasted asparagus for a client – who told me that they had never eaten asparagus, other than in restaurants, because they had no idea how to cook it. Variety is truly the spice of life, culinarily speaking. This week I created meatless “burgers” from a variety of mushrooms and brown rice, with a few added spices and it was a huge hit! We topped them with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and dijon mustard and served it on fresh, crusty Kaiser rolls – my family loved them so much that they asked for the same thing the next night.

This is the kind of depth & range that a personal chef brings to your dinner plate. You don’t have to serve broiled chicken breasts night after night! You don’t have to consume pre-made rice dishes from the grocer’s isle and you don’t have to pretend to love steamed broccoli again, and again and again. Asparagus risotto is just a mouse click away people! Join me in stamping out boring, repetitive dinners. Send me an email, or give me a call and let’s discus how you too can end your family’s dinner doldrums.
